Job Description:
Massage therapist is expected to be reliable, customer service oriented and professional. Has excellent knowledge of anatomy, physiology and techniques provided at EMC. Must have a minimum one year experience and minimum 650 hours of training including NMT , MFR and deep tissue. Massage therapist is expected to do paper work such as soap charts, creating files for new clients, filing, entering information in to Quickbooks and following up with clients. Some networking involved. Must be a team player and willing to grow professionally and personally. Must be an ongoing, honest and driven and willing to learn. Must be a confident and outspoken.
Required Qualifications:
Minimum one-year massage experience, minimum 650 hours of training including MFR, NMT and deep tissue. Serious inquiries only, please!
Therapist will be:
- An employee.
- Paid according to number of massages.
- Retaining full amount of tips.
- Receiving percentage of rate of massage (DOA).
- Required to have Professional Liability Insurance.
- Required to perform other tasks: Clerical , Patient Treatments Other: product sale, rescheduling
- On call and being available in the office for walk ins.
- Required to keep SOAP charts or other charting methods.
- Expected to help build business.
- Provided with clients.
- Responsible for building own clientele.

Additional Comments: EMC is a four-room professional massage center that specializes in treatment work, pain relief and relaxation. Our main focus is to help people to live pain free lives, bring them back in to balance and educate them about healthy choices in their lives. Our business strives on very best quality massages as we do have a lot of referrals from local physicians, chiropractors and physical therapists. I do expect our therapists to be able to asses a client’s need quickly and to perform their treatments efficiently. I do expect to be able to follow up with clients and being able to reschedule them as well as needed.
Monthly training and mentoring provided. Health insurance available for a FT position (min.20 massages/week)
